A Survey of the Five-Year Future Plan of OUCers
Hello! We are a group of students from OUC conducting a survey on the five-year future plans of our student body. This survey aims to understand our peers' aspirations, concerns, and preparations for the future.
It will take approximately 5-7 minutes to complete. Your valuable input will help provide a clearer picture of our collective future and may informstudent support services.
Dimension 1: Goal Clarity and Motivation 1. I have a clear vision of what I should have achieved "five years from now." 2. Achieving financial independence is a very important driver in my future plans. 3. Pursuing personal ideals, rather than just meeting others' expectations, is the core principle guiding my future planning. Dimension 2: Feasibility and Path Confidence 4. I have a clear, step-by-step plan for how to achieve my five-year goals. 5. I am confident that the skills and knowledge I possess are sufficient to take the first step in my career. 6. Even in the face of uncertainty, I am confident in my ability to adjust my strategy and ultimately achieve my goals. Dimension 3: Resource Utilization and Proactive Preparation 7. I believe that actively building a professional network is crucial for achieving career development. 8. I am already proactively seeking and participating in internships or projects that will help me achieve my future goals. 9. I am in the habit of using various information channels (e.g., online resources, books, consultations) to explore potential development paths. Dimension 4: Environmental Perception and Adaptability 10. I can clearly foresee the main external challenges (e.g., market competition, policy changes)I might face in realizing my plans. 11. I believe that adapting to rapidly changing societal needs is an essential ability for the next five years. 12. If necessary, I am willing to relocate to a different city or environment for a better development opportunity. Dimension 5: The University's Role and Support Expectations 13. I believe the core value of a university education lies more in shaping one's thinking than in mere vocational training. 14. I hope the university can provide more opportunities for direct interaction with outstanding alumni and industry elites. 15. I believe the university could do more to help students with personalized, long-term career planning.
