The purpose of this study is to understand your motivations and orientations towards language learning and control-value appraisals in the classroom. Your participation in this study is entirely voluntary. You may choose not to participate or to withdraw from the study at any time without any penalty or loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled. All information collected in this study will be kept confidential. Your responses will be anonymized, and no personally identifiable information will be associated with your responses in any reports of this study. There are no known risks associated with participating in this study. While there may not be direct benefits to you, your participation will contribute to a better understanding of language learning motivations and orientations and control-value appraisals for your instructor.
